PET Scan/Nuclear Medicine

We use PET scans and nuclear medicine as a way to find and identify cancer within the body, observe the effectiveness of treatment, and check for new growths after treatment has ended.

What to expect on your first visit

Your first visit includes a comprehensive examination and review of your medical history. If our doctors recommend a PET scan or any other imaging technology to gain a clear view of organs and tissues, then you will be carefully explained the process. Upon your informed decision to proceed, you will experience a painless scan taking approximately 30-60 minutes while lying comfortably on your back. At Arka Hospital, we make imaging a quick and seamless experience.
